I am a 50 year old woman and have been training with Barbara for four years, following an ACL tear and rehab. I realized how important it was that I maintain strength in my legs as that is most protective of further injury, but I also wanted overall strength for general fitness and good bone density. We have worked out in a gym and also in my home. Barbara tailors my workout depending on whatever is going on with my body and she is an expert on how to adjust each exercise. She can layer in cardio, pilates, yoga, stretching, weights, machines, kettle bells, balls, foam rollers, resistance bands, etc – all as evidenced by her long list of professional certifications. Barbara is very professional but also personable, warm and fun. On the first warm day of Spring we have been known to head outside for a brisk walk and sunshine for Vitamin D! I can’t imagine a more knowledgeable or flexible trainer and I highly recommend Barbara for anyone seeking advanced personal training.
